Dear Sir,

You are really one of the wonderful scientists in the area of crop protection in general. Again I would like to appreciate your work on fruit fly and please continue in your work with partners for reduction of the problem from Africa. Currently, I am working as lecturer and head in Arba Minch University of college of Agricultural Sciences, Ethiopia. Therefore, I kindly request your organization for collaboration work in the area of fruit fly. I did my second degree in crop protection and now we have ongoing research on Prosopis juliflora their distribution and socio-economic impact. We also have an idea to work on mango fruit fly because the area (Arba Minch) is known in mango production.

thanks a lot for you good work. Iam A self-sponsor student currently pursuing MSc in Entomology at Gulu University requesting for some help:- i)Can a bucket trap be used to carry out tephritid fly trapping for a research work? ii)Can your organisation assist by providing some basic materials (traps, lure, rearing device) to help in the research work on tephritid fly to be carried out in Northern Uganda? Thanks a lot for your great work. Am currently pursuing MSC in zoology- Entomology option at Makerere University. Am about to start my research on fruit flies infesting the various mango varieties in Uganda. However, I have been sponsoring my studies by myself. This is proving to be a bit expensive on my side. Is there a way your organization can help?KARI has offered me their facilities to use during my research.

Thank you for the hard work geared towards addressing the fruit fly problem in one of the most important fruits on the african continent.
I am currently trying to establish decision levels for managing the fruit fly that affect hotpepper in uganda as part of the requirement for an award of a MSc in crop science. I have difficulties in raising the flies to be used. I am kindly requewsting for your expertise on a cost friendly protocol that i can use to raise the flies. Thank u
